• 1 - How do I insert pictures onto my profile?


All members can have one Face Photo and up to 2 extra ones on their profiles.
In order to place pictures on your profile, enter "My Profile" (Dating Place's top menu) and click on the "Send your photo" link or the "Profile without Photo" image. Browse, choose the image file and click on the "Send Photo" button.

• 2 - How should my pictures look?


- The Face Photo should emphasize your face. There shouldn't be other people in it;
- Extra Photos can show your body. If there are other people, indicate on the photo (with an arrow, for example) who you are.
- Place recent pictures. Other members will be interested in knowing how you currently look;
- Images must be clear and without shadows;
- The format should be "jpg", "gif", or "bmp";
- The size of the pictures must not exceed 1Mb each;
- Pictures that contradict behavior principles at Dating Place will not be accepted.

• 3 - I don't have a digital picture of myself. What do I do?


If you have access to a scanner, go ahead and digitalize your picture. Please make sure that the file you have created does not exceed 1Mb. The jpg is versatile and compact, but .gif and .bmp formats are also acceptable. In order for you to save the picture in one of these formats, just access the "File" and click on the "Save as". Then, choose one of the three formats on the appropriate section of the window.
If you do not have access to a scanner, a photocopy place near your house will probably be able to solve this problem. Get nice pictures of yourself and ask them to scan them for you, saving them in "JPG" format. You may even take your own floppy disk or cd with you, but they'll probably be able to provide you with one (if needed). It's a quick, easy, and inexpensive process. Once you have the scanned pictures on disk, transfer them to your computer.

• 4 - What is a "Face Photo"?


The Face Photo is the one that appears on your profile when it is listed. This picture should must show the person's face.

• 5 - Is there any guarantee that the picture is authentic?


No. Dating Place cannot guarantee that the pictures placed on the profiles belong to member who submitted it. It is reasonable that people place their real pictures when they wish to begin any type of relationship (quick or serious). According to some studies, 98% of the pictures available in relationship sites (which filter by content) are authentic.

• 6 - What are "Extra Photos"?


Aside from your Face Photo, you may add 2 other pictures to your profile. These are called "Extra Photos".

• 7 - How long will it take for my picture to be on the site?


The deadline for your picture to be on your profile (after you insert it through the site) is three working days.

• 8 - Why isn't my picture on my profile yet?


There are some possible reasons for it:
1. You sent a group picture for your face photo (and we don't know who you are) - In the face photo there should be only you;
2. If you tried to resend your picture before it was inserted on your profile, it will have to be reviewed again - the deadline is 1 week;
3. Your picture was blurred;
4. It was not possible to view your face clearly on the picture you sent for your "Face photo";
5. You might have included your phone number, your email address, your real name or your ICQ. For your safety, we do not allow our users to post this informations;
6. The size of your picture is zero (you probably clicked "send" twice, without allowing time for the picture to be sent);
7. The photo was an image of you as a child. We want to see how you look today;
8. The photo you sent was a "collage" of images. Collages are not allowed;
9. You may have sent a photo containing nudity - which is not allowed. Do not post nude photos on Dating Place. Do not post photos with obscene or objectionable content.
10. The file you sent was corrupted;
11. The file you sent had a virus;
12. The file extension you sent was neither .jpg, .gif or .bmp;
13. The picture you sent exceeds 1Mb;
14. The deadline for your picture to be inserted on your profile (after you insert it through the site) is one week.

• 9 - What must I do in order to change my pictures?


In order to place pictures on your profile, enter "My Profile" (Dating Place's top menu) and then click on the "Send your photo" link or the "Profile without Photo" image. Browse, choose the image file and click on the "Send Photo" button.

Yes, it is.

To remove your Photos:
Enter "My Profile" (Dating Place's top menu) and click on "My Photos" and then on the link "Remove Photo".
