"Who searches for me?" is another Dating Place novelty. It works like a reverse search, showing users who are looking for someone like you. So, when you perform this search, and someone calls your attention, send e-mails or chat over FasTalk. You already know that person wants to find someone like you. View "Who searches for me?".

• 2 - How do I make a search using "Who searches for me?"

It is very easy. All you have to do is click on the "Who searches for me?" link, in the upper menu of the search page, fill-in the fields with the specifications you want and click on "Search."

• 3 - How can I improve my "Who searches for me?" results?

"Who searches for me?" is always based on your profile. So, the more specific you are when you fill it in, the better your chances of being found by the right people!

• 4 - What is "Sort by Affinity"?


When you fill out your profile, you define the importance of many characteristics that the person you're looking for must have (e.g.: height, eye color, smoker/non smoker, etc.). The level of importance will vary from 1 (little importance) to 5 (great importance). When you click on "Sort by Affinity", the system crosses your data with the ones of other registered users (considering what they have filled out in their respective profiles), and displays a list that is sorted by affinity, from greatest to lowest compatibility.

• 5 - How can I "Sort by Affinity"?

Enter "Search Profiles". You will see (below the "Sort by Affinity" section) the "Sort by Affinity" link. All you have to do is click on it, and it'll display a list of profiles, sorted by compatibility percentage with your profile. hide answer
• 6 - What is the "Saved Search"?


Every time you visit the site and want to search for profiles, you have to define all the criteria you want to include in your Advanced search. The Saved Search makes your life much easier! You can save the criteria that you have defined, and won't have to fill out everything again on your next searches.

• 7 - How do I change the "Saved Search"?


The Saved Search can be modified by clicking on "Change Saved Search", below "Saved Search" (in "Search Profiles"). Make the changes you wish and click on "Save Saved Search".

• 8 - What are "Favorites"?


When you display a list of profiles, you may add the ones you like best in your Favorites list. To do so, all you must do is click on the "Add to Favorites" link (which is displayed next to the profiles). This tool works as a record book. You may keep information from other members, and even make comments about each one of them.
Gold Members can sort their favorites according to the criterias offered at the top-right side of the section.

• 9 - How many profiles are displayed on the sorted list?


On each profile-listing page, up to 20 profiles are displayed. When there are more than 20 profiles, you can view them by clicking on "Next". In every profile page, there's an arrow indicating if there are more profiles to be listed.

• 10 - How do I access a profile from the sorted list?


You may click on the person's username or on the person's picture. That way, you'll enter the page with all the data the person filled out.

• 11 - How do I communicate with someone who's listed?


There are two ways to do so:
- Invite to FasTalk: you may talk to any online Member of Dating Place. It's an exclusive Dating Place communication system, in which our members can speak to each other simultaneously when they are logged in.
- Send emails: You may send emails to members who are listed to you.

• 12 - What does "I'm not online" mean?


This means that the person listed is not available for a FasTalk at the moment. Nevertheless, you can send him/her an email and schedule another time. After all, FasTalk is the best way to begin a relationship over the Internet.

This link indicates that the person is online and can be invited to a FasTalk conversation. When you click on this link, an invitation window willl pop open on the person's screen. If the person wants to speak to you, a FasTalk window will open and both of you will be able to freely communicate.

• 14 - How do I send a message to someone who's listed?


You will find the "Send email" link whenever profiles are listed, and on the top of pages containing profiles of other members. All you have to do is click on it and you'll be redirected to the email sending area. In it, you'll write the subject of the email, the message you want, and click the "Send email" button right after it.

• 15 - How can I identify the profiles that I've already seen?


The profiles you have seen will be marked with the sentence: "This profile has already been viewed".

• 16 - What if I find a profile which I find offensive?


The pictures and texts submitted are reviewed by our team before being published. In case you identify any profile that seems offensive, use the "Denounce" link found on the profiles pages.

• 17 - I have lost contact with a registered user. Can you help me find him/her?


Dating Place has a serious Privacy Policy. It will not reveal any personal data of its users. If you've lost contact with any of our users, we cannot help you, just like we would not be able to help any other user that asked for it. Please consult our Privacy Policy to learn more on this matter.
