- 1 - What are the pre-defined Mail messages?
The pre-defined messages were created to further increase your chances of finding your perfect match. You can choose from the 28 different existing messages and send one to any website user. They will help facilitate your search, streamlining the delivery of messages and boosting your chances of finding that special someone.

- 4 - I am a Gold Member. Can I still send an email to other users that I myself wrote?
Of course! You will continue writing emails normally. However, you have the additional benefit of being able to also send pre-defined messages.

- 6 - I am a Basic User. I can I respond to a message I received?
To respond to a message you received, simply read the message and click “Reply”. Then, select the pre-defined response you want to send. You will have eight options to ensure that your response fits as closely as possible with the message you first received.
If you have already exchanged messages with this user, become a Gold Member now to continue the conversation.

- 7 - I am a Basic User and already had a message recorded in my Express Email. What happened to it?
As a Basic User, you have pre-defined messages you can send via Mail. Now, you will be able to choose one of them to save in your Express Email as well. When you become a Member, you will be able to use the Express Email that was recorded. Take advantage of this feature!

- 8 - How can I record a message in my Express Email?
There are two ways of saving a pre-defined message as your Express Email.
The first is: As soon as you send some pre-defined message to a user, you will be able to save this message as your Express Email. To do so, simply select the option that appears on the lower part of the page right below the message field, "Use this message for my Express Emails". That’s it!
The second is: Click the Express E-mail link and select the pre-defined message. To save it, click the option “Use this message for my Express Emails” located below the message field and click “Send”.

- 9 - How do I send an email?
In order to send an email message to another member at Dating Place, all you
need to do is click on the "Send email" link that appears on profile
listings, and inside each profile. Fill out the "Subject" field, write
out the text and click on the "Send email" button. Your message will
be sent to the receiver's mailbox at Dating Place, and he/she will receive a
notice at his/her email address he/she registered with us.

- 10 - Where’s the link for “Express E-mail”?
”Express E-mail” is identified by this symbol:
There are two ways to access “Express E-mail”:
1- Go to “Search Profiles” and conduct your search. In the profile list, click on the “Express E-mail” link that is located next to “Send email".
OR
2 – Go to the profile of the person you wish to contact and next to “Send email” click on the “Express E-mail” link.

- 11 - How do I attach pictures to my email?
In order to send an attached picture (along with the email message), click
on attach image at the message window. Wait a few moments, and you'll see a
confirmation message (stating that your picture has been attached). After this,
click "send email".
Attention: It is not possible to send images that exceed 50k.
Only Gold users can send photos attached to their messages.

- 12 - I can't send emails. What's wrong?
Check whether you entered the last name of the recipient correctly or reached the daily delivery limit of 500 messages. Remember that the Express E-mail is also counted as sent items. In the case of basic users, make sure that you have never contacted the recipient before.

- 13 - How do I know if my email was sent?
After clicking on "send email" you will see a confirmation message
that says "Message sent successfully". The message you sent will be
kept in the "Sent Items" folder, inside your Mail section.

- 14 - How do I know if my email was received?
Access the Dating Place Mail area and choose "Sent Item." You will see a column indicating whether the recipient has read your message. If it has been read, it will be marked with an eye icon for Gold users. Basic users will not know whether the messages have been read, since all will display a question mark.

- 15 - Are my name or email address revealed to the person I sent a message to?
No. No identifiable personal information will ever be revealed by the Dating Place system. You are the only one who has the option of revealing your identity in the text of your messages. Remember that the system blocks the personal information sent by basic users, as indicated in our Use Agreement.

- 16 - How can I receive emails?
When someone sends a message to your profile at Dating Place, you will receive
it at the Mail Section. Our server will send a notice to the email you've registered
with us.
Attention: the receiver does not have access to your real email.

- 17 - Why are the messages I send being switched to asterisks?
Our system automatically tracks specific words and blocks personal data that appear in messages basic members write. Whenever personal information is added (e-mail addresses, phone numbers, etc.), it is substituted for asterisks.
Our system does not track messages written by Gold members.

- 18 - How do I know if someone sent me an email?
When a user writes you a message, you'll be notified through your email address and on the top menu of the site.

- 19 - What if I receive an inappropriate picture or email?
In case you receive a message or picture that you consider to be inappropriate, please do not hesitate to report it to us. Please use the “Report abuse” link in this person’s profile. We will analyze the situation and take the appropriate measures.

- 20 - What does "confirm my email address" mean"?
It means that we've been able to confirm that the email you've registered in
our system (when registering) is correct.
Having your email confirmed is partly a safety matter. We want to be sure
that you really are the person who registered. It is also a simple confirmation
that you'll receive a message that is sent to you.

- 21 - How many emails fit in my mailbox?
The Inbox space for members is 1Mb, enough to store approximately 2,000 text messages. Users must pay attention to the size of the messages they receive with attached photos.
Important: Each message will be automatically deleted six months after it is sent or received.

- 23 - I've erased an email. Is it possible to recover it?
No. Dating Place does not store copies of erased emails.
